I was doing the assignment for our class and searched the site http://www.kidlink.org/ This is a great site for both students and teachers. It allows for students to create profiles, like myspace, but the can connect with kids from all over the world. Plus it allows parental control so parents do not have to fear who is using the site and can see what their kids are doing. It promotes multi cultural learning and allows collaboration on projects across many contents. Letter Pop is a great web site that allows you to design wonderful newsletters with many great templates and allows you to use pictures to make creative newsletters. Here is a sample of what I did.
